So what’s exactly FLORMAR? It’s a beauty brand established in Milan, Italy and produced in Turkey. According to 2014 data of Euromonitor, the world’s leading market research company, FLORMAR is the number one makeup brand of Turkey. And now, they are available in Indonesia.
Check this racks out!
Price wise, they are super affordable (eyeshadow not more than IDR 100K), considering they have their own flagship stores in big malls. Can’t wait to play around with colors on their flagship store soon, and I hope to see you girls around. Till then, happy weekend y’all.
Introducing: ESTĒE LAUDER Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Transformative Energy Eye Creme.
Yup, the never ending search for the fountain of youth when it comes to skin care…particularly for us, women. No worries, there’s hope for aging skin around the eyes, as we all might be aware that the delicate area around our eyes is one of the first places to show visible signs of aging.
And what a luxurious way to transform eye area skin with this eye creme. It’s infused with Black Diamond Truffle Extract, claimed to lifts, firms, re-energizes, sculpts and brightens the look of the eye area. FYI, black diamond truffle is one of nature’s rarest treasures that’s transformed through a certain process into a pure and precious extract with 10,000 hours in the making.
It comes with the rotating applicator made of a cooling golden alloy. What an indulging way to treat the eye area! Like a massage wand, use the flat end of this applicator to apply a pearl-sized amount to the eye area, and gently tap with ring fingers as it absorbs. Then, hold the wand vertically, sweep the rotating tip from the inner corner under the eye to the temple. This massaging motion claimed to help increase microcirculation. Don’t forget to clean this after each use. Keep it hygienic, people!
Hey dolls! Sorry for no blog post lately, as I’ve been busy with my day job. But I’m back!!! This time, I’m going to inform you about the latest products from MAYBELLINE NEW YORK.
Imagine how happy I was, came back from work one night, and found this bright pink kit on my mail.
So, what’s inside?
Four latest products from Maybelline New York, SUPER BB CUSHION, MAGNUM BARBIE MASCARA, THE BLUSHED NUDES AND VIVID MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK.
Also in the kit, a little book showcasing two looks of DOLL IT UP (created by Ryan Ogilvy, official makeup artist for Maybelline New York Indonesia), featuring two Indonesian superstars, Pevita Pearce and Velove Veloxia. Yes, both of them are Maybelline New York Indonesia’s brand ambassador. Ryan created Sassy Doll look for Pevita and Sweet Doll look for Velove which remind me a lot of Barbie’s makeup. Lots of pink ahead, dolls!
I just opened the box, so I haven’t got the chance to review them yet, but I will soon. Meanwhile, here are some product infos from their release.
BB CUSHION: Wow, do Koreans influenced us all. Maybelline claimed that this will cover pores perfectly and give semi-dewy finish look.
THE BLUSHED NUDES: The 12 shades of eyeshadows look prettier in real life. I believe this will bring out the feminine side in me (LOL).
MAGNUM BARBIE MASCARA: This supposed to make our lashes look Barbie like, with its’ special brush and texture.
VIVID MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK: There are actually 10 shades available and I’m pretty sure that I’m going to love them. Hello, they are matte and liquid. What else can I ask for?
Indeed! Check out the largest range of eyeshadows from MAKE UP FOR EVER, ARTIST SHADOW.
Too much of eyeshadows? Never. As a fellow beauty junkie, you’d agree with me. In Indonesia, they carry 175 shades out of the original 210 that Dany Sanz created to sort of celebrate Make Up For Ever 30th anniversary. Originally created by Dany in 1984, the first Artist Shadow range consists of 100 shades. Went up to 125 in 2013 and this year, 210. Keep in mind that Indonesia only carry 175 shades.
With 5 finishes: matte, satiny, iridescent, metallic and diamond, I am spoilt by choices. Oh dear, picking up shades and textures are just too hard for a girl! Then, another choice to be made, the palette. They have three choices, single palette, duo palette and trio palette at the same price (Rp 70.000 each). So, my suggestion, go for the trio ones. Oh by the way, the Artist Shadow costs Rp 220.000 each.
After going back and forth to the display at their flagship store in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, I decided to fill my trio palette.
As you can see my numbers of choices are: M518 (Nude), S814 (Light Rosewood) and M626 (Neutral Brown). Yup, I decided to go for their matte and satiny textures out of 5 textures available and went neutral. No doubt about the intensity of their colour pigments and their textures are just heavenly smooth like velvet when applied.
Swatched on the back of my hand without primer and with one, can you spot the difference?
Not much of a difference in the intensity of the shades, right? The first swatch photo is the one without primer, and the last swatch photo is with primer. Usually my eyeshadows shades will pop out more if I use eye primer, but Artist Shadow doesn’t need primer (well, if you want to make it stay longer, I still recommend to apply eye primer).
It was fun to create this trio palette of Artist Shadow, although I admit it was darn hard to pick just three out of 175. I’m proud of my choices, very me and so wearable for everyday staples. I was thinking to use the middle shades on my palette (the rosewood ones) as a blush too. Check out the look harmonized on my face for a lazy Saturday. I love how matte they looked, and I did wear the rosewood shade as a blush.
