The interpretation of the portal which featured many ‘rooms’ comes to life in Senayan City, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Only until tomorrow (Sunday, September 20, 2015) you can actually browse through Hermès iconic scarf collections: La Maison des Carrés.

Last week, I was invited to their private event, and I wandered freely around the ‘house’. They did it in a mall where they actually don’t have Hermès store, and I was surprised to see how colorful and fun the showcase was.

Hermès tattoo? Yes, please.

MOVE OVER BIRKIN & KELLY

It’s time for another bag from Hermès to shine.

I believe no one is safe from the temptation of having a Birkin or a Kelly, or both. But for me, this Berline Bag is it!

It’s not a new type of bag from Hermès, actually it first appeared back in Fall 2011. But, the buzz is, this mini version of Berline has been earmarked to be the star of Hermès bag in 2013. For those who opt for more casual and sporty version of Hermès bag, you’re looking at it. It must be the sporty quilted leather pattern on the front and the Swift leather used for its smoothness and durable function.

Other familiar details like palladium clasp closure and the leather tabbed canvas Amazone strap (which can be find on Kelly bag) just made this Berline bag more (expensively) perfect as a city shoulder bag. it can also be used as a clutch, because you could remove the strap. Comes in six interesting colors, it’ll be available in stores next year. So hold your horses.

 

 

WILL YOU WEAR A BIRKIN MADE FROM LEGO?

The real Hermés Birkin bag might be out of range for some of us mere mortals. But this 25cm Birkin bag sold on Etsy.com will be the closest thing we can get.

Made from original (and never played) Lego bricks, the seller from Poland, Agabag by Agnieszka Biernacka is receiving tons of orders from what she called a tribute to Hermés. If we order now, the bag will be shipped not earlier than February 18, 2013. Cost US$400, the bag can be made to order in other colors such as white, yellow, red, blue, lime, orange, multicolor and light or dark grey. 

This is definitely not a toy bag, cause it’s fully functional and was designed for everyday use.

You’re most welcome to indulge in a very high end way. Have a tea party courtesy of Prada tea bags, work out in style with Chanel hand weights, or simply playing cards with your girlfriends using Lanvin playing cards. Life is that good, yes?

Things they did to make us more addictive to their brands. But, really, do we need them? If you can afford them, why the heck not?
