HOW TO CONCEAL DARK CIRCLES | STEP BY STEP

Big shout out to my friend, Dery from BLP Beauty Team who sent me these concealers to try.

I am a big fan of concealer since the day I knew makeup. And now, on my freelance days during the pandemic, I might not wearing full base makeup, but concealer is still my go-to. Thanks to dark circles and coronasomnia (sleeping problems during pandemic), uneven skin tone, redness here and there.

Got 3 shades to try: Vanilla and Peach are the latest shades. Priced at IDR129K each. Infused with chamomile extract, great for anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-irritant and calming properties.

You can layer for higher coverage. Creamy yet easy to blend, with medium to high coverage and long staying power (great behind the mask). Personally I like more dense texture as it’s easier to apply and blend seamlessly, than liquid ones.

Peach shade is more of a corrector, to cancel out blue and purple hues from dark circles. Apply a little, dab to set and layer with concealer. I used all 3 shades they sent to me: Vanilla, Peach & Light. Please check out the YT videos for the result, and don’t forget to like & subscribe.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN HAIR CUTTING SUPERSTITION?

Believe it or not, cutting your hair professionally in salon can lift up your mood, anyway.

Who doesn’t like to walk out of a hair salon, feeling fabulous (you wish you have your own glam team everyday to style your hair)?

But most of Indonesians believe that if you cut your hair, you throw away bad luck (we called it “BUANG SIAL”). And so do I. How about you?

BOTOX (AGAIN AFTER 5 YEARS)

Yes, due to lots of things happened in my life, including this global pandemic situation, I just had my Botox again, after 5 years of Botox hiatus (read my previous experience, here).

I did my second Botox Treatment at Jakarta Aesthetic Clinic with Dr Olivia Ong, you can check them out here

Why Botox if you might ask? Well, like most of people I do love my skincare products, but seriously how far can they go? I read it somewhere (I forgot where), skincare and botox are like diet and exercise. To achieve a successful and maximal result for your body, you need both to complement each other.

Many did it earlier in their late 20’s for preventative botox, but for me it’s all about getting treatment, not just to relax wrinkles. And mine was not just a conventional Botox, obviously. It was like getting a facelift without surgery, very important for a woman my age, with problems on lower face.

[VLOG] SKINCARE & DRUGSTORE’S HAUL

Yes, my lovely readers, I also have a YT Channel here, sharing vlog and my shopping trip, haul, etc.

On my latest episode, I share my haul from a local drugstore. I rarely went out on this pandemic, and when I did, I’ll make sure I checked out local drugstores to find new and interesting new products to try.

ANOTHER HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED COLLABORATIONS?

Rihanna for River Island.

Scheduled to premiere on February 16 during London Fashion Week this year, the collection will be casual, chic and flirty (that’s what she said in her behind the scene video above).

If you wonder who sit next to her, is Adam Selman, who designed Riri’s looks for her Loud & 777 tours. He and Riri collaborated on this collection, which will hit stores in the UK on March 5, 2013.

YES, A WOMAN CAN HAVE IT ALL …

Head to toe Chanel, a gorgeous husband and a cute kid.

At least, according to Karl Lagerfeld. Chanel’s Spring 2013 campaign video (directed by Karl himself), entitled “Public Garden” was shot in black and white a la silent movie. Set in Musée Rodin in Paris, France, Lindsey Wixson starred with the ever handsome Brad Kroening as someone else’s husband. The cute kid, is Karl’s godson, Hudson Kroening, wearing a matching Choupette sweatshirt and tee. Oooohhhh…..
