THIS IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Lancome by Alber Elbaz!!!!

My goodness, my heart is racing. I can’t wait to see the real thing, the packaging, the colors. But good things do come for those who wait. Holding my horses until they launch later this June.

It will definitely be the most wanted limited edition collection of the year. For now, just enjoy the teaser video which Alber Elbaz illustrated himself.

THE FAIRYTALE STORY OF A FASHIONABLE PRINCESS

Once upon a fashionable time, somewhere between Paris Fashion Week, there was a fashionable princess from the land of a thousand smiles, seated at most front rows. And this is her story….

Ranked the 5th in the 2009 Forbes’ List of 20 Hottest Young Royals, Sirivannavari Nariratana is the only daughter of Crown Prince Maha Vajralongkorn. Yes, she is the royal granddaughter of Thailand. She plays badminton (a competitive one) and she’s no stranger in Paris Fashion Week, as she is a designer and already presented her collections at the last edition of Paris Fashion Week last year.

Reportedly a loyal customer of Pierre Balmain, she attended five shows at Paris Fashion Week recently. Check out her majesty’s styles. That’s what I called a “Fashionable Princess”.

IF YOU DO HAVE EXTRA CASH ….

You’re most welcome to indulge in a very high end way. Have a tea party courtesy of Prada tea bags, work out in style with Chanel hand weights, or simply playing cards with your girlfriends using Lanvin playing cards. Life is that good, yes?

Things they did to make us more addictive to their brands. But, really, do we need them? If you can afford them, why the heck not?

ART AT YOUR HANDS

Gorgeous clutches and handbag from different type of materials. It will add the fun in your everyday style and made you stand out from the usual boring crowd *yawn.

A sculptural feel of pleats material in Tangerine color by none other than Issey Miyake.
Acrylic clutch with Union Jack from Jimmy Choo.
Wood clutch from Lanvin.
A dictionary look alike for the geek in you from Kate Spade.

STYLISHLY YUMMY

Who said diamonds are girl’s best friend?

Imagine eight bubblegum flavored macaroons packed in stylish boxes created by Alber Elbaz. Lanvin’s creative director collaborated with the most visited confectionary in Paris, Laduree for this high end stylish sweet treats. Perfect for fashionistas who always have soft spot for sweets and the fashion that follows. It will be launch in France on September 25, 2012.

NO PIERCING? NO PROBLEM

Still blaming my mother up to this day for not giving ear piercing to her only baby daughter (that’ll be me). Now, as an adult, I don’t have the guts to pierce my ears. But as time goes by, there are fortunately many clip on earrings produced, including those from designers. These are my favorite clip on earrings from my favorite site Net A Porter.
