My favorite topic: bespoke. I’ve talked about bespoke fragrances, now it’s time for bespoke slippers.

Stubbs & Wootton has been designing quirky interpretations of traditional British house shoes that were popular in the early 20th century, slippers. Go to their web site, and indulge yourself with creativity by doing your own imaginary slippers. First, choose the type of slippers, then select from hand embroidered or by machine monograms in silver or gold wire and a variety of materials, such as velvet or linen. Select the trim and finally the monograms. The damage? US$900 for my imaginary slippers (look above) and it’ll take 12 weeks for delivery.
